Star Trek: Discovery Honored at the 27th Celebration of Courage Awards and Gala
The cast and production team of Star Trek: Discovery presented with this year's Outspoken Award.
Last night, Outright International, a global human rights organization dedicated to improving the lives of LGBTIQ people across the world, hosted its 27th Celebration of Courage Awards and Gala in New York City.
This year’s Outspoken Award was presented to the queer members of the cast and production team of Star Trek: Discovery, including Wilson Cruz, Anthony Rapp, Blu del Barrio, Tig Notaro, Mary Wiseman, and Michelle Paradise. Cruz, Rapp, and del Barrio were on-hand to accept on behalf of the series.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' Jess Bush, Celia Rose Gooding, and Melissa Navia were in attendance to support their fellow Star Trek castmates!
