Leonard Nimoy's family members are following in the footsteps of the Star Trek icon's colleagues, friends and fans, and are taking to social media or talking to the press to share their thoughts and reflections about him.

The Nimoy family has also asked that, in lieu of flowers, people consider making a charitable donation in Nimoy's memory.
