FIRST LOOK: Krenim Temporal Weapon Ship

The team at Star Trek The Official Starships Collection don’t just make models. They spend a lot of time researching the different ships so that they can produce the magazine. One of the things they always look at is how the design of the ship in question evolved. Every now and again some information turns up just after they’ve gone to press -- and that’s exactly what’s happened with the Krenim Temporal Weapon Ship.

Everyone knew that the final ship was designed by Steve Burg and built at Foundation Imaging. But what no one realized was that Star Trek: Voyager’s regular concept artist, Rick Sternbach, had already produced some designs. After digging through his files he turned them up just a little too late to make it into the magazine. So, in the interest of completeness, the starships team have asked us to share them with everyone.
